Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are NFC Tap Stickers?

NFC Tap Stickers are stickers with built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) chips that let you instantly share a link—like your website, social media, menu, portfolio, or event—just by tapping the sticker with a smartphone. No apps. No QR codes. Just tap, and wow!

How do NFC stickers work?

NFC (Near Field Communication) is short-range wireless technology that lets two items—like a phone and a sticker—communicate when they’re close together. When someone taps their phone to your NFC Tap Sticker, it triggers the action you’ve set-up (like opening your website). It’s super fast, totally seamless, and kinda magical.

Are NFC Tap Stickers compatible with all phones?

Most modern smartphones (iPhones and Androids) already have built-in NFC readers:

iPhones: All models from iPhone XS and newer support background NFC reading (just tap and go).

Android phones: Most models support NFC; users may need to turn on NFC in settings.

What can I link to with my NFC Tap Sticker?

Almost anything! Some popular links include:

  • Your website or online store
  • Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Linktree
  • Digital business cards
  • Menus, portfolios, or playlists
  • Event details or RSVP pages

Custom landing pages (great for creators and brands!)

How do I set up my NFC sticker?

Easy as 1-2-tap:

  1. Upload your design and target link at checkout.
  2. We encode your stickers before shipping—no app needed.
  3. Just tap with your phone to test it out your stickers when they arrive (don’t worry we test them too).

Need help designing your sticker? We offer optional design services too.

Can I change the link later?

All stickers are pre-programmed with your custom URL during production, which means links are fixed at the time of shipping. However, we can change the link for an additional fee, just email hello@nfctapstickers.com; Need a Dynamic NFC Sticker where you can change the link at any time? We can offer that too, send us an email or mention this at the time of your order.

Do I need an app to use NFC stickers?

Nope! That’s the beauty of it. Your customers, fans, or friends don’t need to download anything. They just tap with their phone and go straight to your link. It’s smooth, friction-free magic.

Can I use NFC Tap Stickers for my small business?

Absolutely! NFC Tap Stickers are perfect for small businesses, creators, and service providers. Use them to:

  • Share menus or service lists
  • Collect reviews or payments
  • Promote your socials
  • Add interactivity to packaging or signage

What is the turnaround time?

7-10 Business Days

What types of stickers do you offer?

We offer several shapes and finishes, including round, square, and Heavy-Duty (Metal Safe) NFC stickers (great for glass, metal, or high-interference surfaces). All our stickers are printed in-house using a high-quality, print-on-demand model.
